Water main problem on the A525 (update)

UPDATE – the A525 is now closed .

There is some kind of water main burst where the A525 bears left just beyond Salford going away from the village.

It will require the A525 to be closed while it is fixed – the Parish Council have received notification from United Utilities of the need to close the road, and the implication of the notice is that it is already closed, although in fact at this moment it is still open.

We will try to keep up to date with developments.
