Canal & River Trust Volunteers are meeting at the canal wharf this coming Saturday, 9th November around 9.30 to 10.00am, to continue with improving, tidying and restoring the good appearance of the canal-side between the Shropshire Street road bridge and the Shroppie Fly pub.

This week they will be continuing the tidying up of the area of unkempt vegetation between Audlem Mill and the canal, and they will also be planting lots of bulbs and hopefully doing some painting.

More volunteers are urgently needed, so if you'd like to help improve Audlem's shop window for many of its visitors and can come on Saturday, contact Audlem Mill on 01270 811059, and we will tell the Task Force Leader, Dek Owen.

Refreshments will be provided, but please bring suitable outdoor clothing and a packed lunch.
