Village Chippy reminder

With Friday a popular day for a Fish & Chip tea, a reminder that the Village Chippy is closed this week but will be re-opening on Tuesday.

This was announced last week on AudlemOnline by Alison who wrote: "The Village Chippy will be closed for one week as from Monday 17th August and we will reopen on Tuesday 25th August.

I (Ali) am really sorry that I have to close for this week but as many of you know our situation at present which is that George is having treatment at the moment which means he is not able to run the chippy so it's left to myself and our lovely staff.

At the weekend I had a letter to say that my little girl Alexi has had an operation date brought forward to Monday 17th August so as a mother I would like to be there and spend some quality time with her whilst she is recovering for the few days after.

I haven't been able to spend a lot of time with my two little children over these past few weeks due to our circumstances so just for this forthcoming week I'm going take a week off to be with the little 'darlings'.

I'm sure you all understand and hope I haven't caused any inconvenience for any of our customers.

Again I would just like to say thank you to our lovely customers for their continued support and also those who keep asking about George and sending their best wishes to him...it means so much to us.
