Thursday Night Live Music at The Lord Combermere

This Thursday's Live music session (27th June) at The Lord Combermere sees Blues BoyDan return to the village for another night of amazing local talent and firstclass entertainment.

Hailing from Shrewsbury, Dan has performed in front of millions live on The Andrew Marr Show on BBC One earlier this year. After being spotted on YouTube by Fleetwood Mac legend Mick Fleetwood, Dan will be supporting ZZ Top on tour this summer as well as performing at the Glastonbury and Wychwood festivals.

He said:"It's weird how it all happened. I got on a plane for the first time ''..and was in Nashville which is an amazing place. I was recording with a guy called Vance Powell, who is a Grammy Award winning producer, which is a bit ofan experience.

"We went to Willy Nelson's 80th birthday party with Neil Young, Sheryl Crow and Nora Jones, some amazing people that I have known to watch but then got to see them in front of me."

Over the last couple of years, Dan has been a firm favourite Thursday night and festival artist at The Lord Combermere with an ever growing army of fans. Nashville it may not be but this Thursday at The Lord C is a night not to be missed. It is an honour to have him play for us again and it will be an honour if you could join us!
