Just four weekends into the summer season of Audlem Lass and the new boat service has provided over one thousand passenger trips.

Since its initial trip on 22nd April, the team of volunteer coxswains have seen 1008 passengers step on board and have collected £822 in donations to the RNLI, the lifeboat charity.

As well as the regular weekend services from Lock 15 to the Overwater Marina, Audlem Lass is now providing trips around the marina for the many school children that visit the Monks Hall Farm and Overwater Marina as part of the farm's commitment to the Countryside Stewardship scheme, as seen in the second photo.

The team of coxswains are delighted with the response to the new boat service and thank everyone for their support.

Audlem Lass will be in service next weekend and the following weekend the team looks forward to a busy Bank Holiday weekend with the Audlem Festival and Carnival at the end of the month.
