And now, a quote to celebrate April Fools Day, safely out of the way for another year:

Regular readers may have noticed a number – four in fact – somewhat suspicious stories that appeared on AudlemOnline at the start of this month on Wednesday.

Unlike in previous years, the majority of stories that day were perfectly genuine.

Just to clear things up, these were not entirely true:

• No Picasso paintings have as yet been found in a loft on the Woore road
• Radio Stoke have no plans to open a studio in Audlem
• There is no Hollywood film planned for Amazing Grace (but there should be)
• Quasimodo ear defenders against 'the bells, the bells' are not, as yet, on sale at Wiiliams' newsagents.

But then again, all could yet come to pass!
