Thanks, Vi

The AGM of the Audlem Support Group for St Luke's Hospice was held on Monday, April 10th in the Bradford Room in the Scout and Guide Hall. The meeting marked the retirement of Dr Vi Pritchard, the Chair of the Committee, who had held office since 1985 when she inaugurated the Group. A total of £105,000 has been raised and sent to the Hospice during her chairmanship, which represents £428.57 for every single month – an amazing achievement.

The newly elected Chairman, Peter Morgan, proposed a vote of thanks to Vi and a presentation was made to her of gifts from the Committee and members. She also received a bouquet from Wendy Gibson, Fundraising Manager at the Hospice. In recognition of the work she has done for the Hospice Vi has been invited to become Vice President of St Luke's (Cheshire) Hospice.
