Village businesses and individuals have been thanked for stepping in to save the annual Audlem flower displays.

Fears for the future of the annual community displays rose when Cheshire East cut Audlem's annual grant for floral displays to zero.

But ADAS has worked hard to raise funds to continue with flower displays seen throughout the village.

ADAS spokesman Ralph Warburton said: 'I am delighted to give my most sincere thanks to the businesses of Audlem – and others – in responding so well by giving us their most welcome support in terms of cash. We in ADAS will be forever in their debt. What a great community spirit we have here.'

A list of donors has been posted on the notice board on Shropshire Street for those unable to access the web site. Sponsors for flower displays in 2011 are:
