Thandi Sidu

It is with sadness that I write to let you know that Thandi Sidu died early this morning in Leighton Hospital.

Because she was very poorly from mid December and taken into hospital just after Christmas, Thandi was never well enough to write a 'thank you' note for the generosity she received from The Bridge Quiz night.

She was overwhelmed with the kindness shown and the relief she obtained by being able to pay some of her bills. It meant a great deal to her to know that village people cared. Her form of cancer was particularly nasty and she is now at peace.

I thank you all on her behalf.
