Temporary Opening Hours

Due to staff holidays we will be opening at the slightly later time of 9.00 and will be closing at 17.30 until Friday 9th October (Saturday will be normal opening hours of 8.30-16.00). Please accept our apologies in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Remember that we can take orders by phone or by email if you would like us to get anything ready for a speedy collection.

Audlem Sausage Competition

Still time to enter!

This year we are looking for another unique, commercially viable, sausage recipe that could be enjoyed by our customers. The entries will be shortlisted during week commencing 12th October, 3 different recipes will be chosen for a taste-off which will take place on Saturday 24th October – votes for sausage A,B or C will be taken on the day to establish a winner.

The winning entrant will get to come into the kitchens of Oxtail & Trotter to help make the winning recipe and take home 4kg of their sausages! If you would like to enter please send your ideas to info@oxtailandtrotter.com or pop in to the shop to pick up an entry form.

Last year the winning entry was the so-called "Audlem" sausage that is a Pork sausage flavoured with Cheshire Cheese, cranberry & chive. This has been a great seller and will continue to be part of our handmade sausage range.
