Summer planting team

I have been busy planting up the village with the floral displays for the summer.

I am pleased to say that I was helped by a group of willing volunteers giving their time freely in the care, planting, watering and strimming.

These wonderful people are a mix of old and new residents (I am one of the new ones , having only been here 24 years!) – Jan & John Evans of Witton Close, Bob Spibey and Tony & Sheila Maddocks of Cheshire Street, Paul Harden of Broadways, Lorraine & Dave Joynson of Armstrong Close, Pat Winfield and Ann Pearce of Vicarage Gardens and Anne & Rob Poole of Laurel Farm.

A big thank you to all of you. And we all hope that everyone will enjoys the blooms.
