July 2014

  • BCBM Boat Share Ltd gives their village centre premises a face lift
  • Sizzling Sausage competition launched as Oxtail & Trotter celebrates its 2nd birthday
  • The van driver who died in a collision with a milk tanker on the A529 has been named locally as 34-year-old Ben Murphy
  • Packed Public Meeting to discuss Neighbourhood Plan

August 2014

  • New Audlem Traders leaflet published
  • 4th August, 100 years from the Britain's declaration of war in 1914, sees a WW1 commemoration at St James' Church
  • Janice Spibey announces she raised £1,305 for St Luke's at the Midnight Walk, her 10th walk
  • Audlem Public Hall granted a sum of £4,500 from Cheshire East's Community Grants Scheme towards the cost of renovating the stage
  • Fancy dress party in all three pubs on Saturday 16th August to raise funds for local resident Chrissie's breast cancer charity
  • Gardeners' World presenter Carol Klein films locally last visiting Martin and Janet Blow's National Collections of Heleniums in Hankelow
  • Audlem W. I. held their annual garden party at a garden in Hatherton in glorious sunshine
  • Audlem Methodist Church Treasure Hunt and BBQ
  • GoFundMe website for Mend our Mum first announced leading to the Amazing Grace video later in the year
  • Audlem Beer Festival over Bank Holiday weekend sees wide range of beers and ciders (and music) on offer
