I was unable to attend the APC meeting of July 29th.
When I read the minutes, there were in my opinion multiple wrong/inaccurate statements that had been made by several councillors.
I wanted to correct these comments during the 8th August 2024 APC meeting, but was not allowed to. I felt that it was wrong for incorrect statements to be made and placed in the public domain when the clear intention of the APC was to be open and honest about numerous events that had taken place since Turnpike was purchased.
The minutes may be read here:
As has been reported, I was not allowed to make any of these comments during the public APC meeting on August 8th, at which point I resigned so that I could publish my comments as a Member of the Public.
I am very sad that I am no longer able to contribute to wonderful Audlem as a councillor, but I strongly believe that I should make these statements public.
