Silk Brass concert tonight

A reminder that there's a great musical event in the village this evening with the concert in Audlem St James' church by Macclesfield's Silk Brass Band.

This is a very high quality brass band. Indeed, last year Macclesfield’s Silk Brass made it to the finals of the National Brass Band Championships so this concert should be something special.

And there's a rare attraction to add to the appeal. There's a bar open in the church yard marquee from 6.30pm. Proceeds are in aid of the Scout & Guide Hall funds.

It's on Saturday 24th September and the concert starts at 7.30pm and is in St James Church.

Tickets are £7.50 from Audlem Post Office this morning or you can pay on the door – accompanied children free admission.
