Should the offender be named?

Reuben Palin has written following up yesterday's pooper scooper story. He says: "With regards the local person not using the pooper scooper, I think it is a great idea to name and shame the offenders!. People need to realise the danger to young children from the dog mess.

As Ian Haughy has mentioned previously, the football pitch and park area have to be cleaned of mess before any training sessions with Audlem Saints. Also the Audlem FUN-KY team had to clear the park area last year before setting up for the first day and again for the second. Both of these events are children's events with children as young as 4 attending and potentially falling into it. The good thing is that the pitch is checked prior to the children playing on it but how many kids play there without that occurring?

So I ask Audlem Online if they would consider a section for the naming and shaming."
