Short ARS on Saturday

We had originally hoped that the new permissive footpath across the Combermere Estate would be open, so that we could use it as part of the route for the Short-ARS walk due on Saturday morning.

Unfortunately the new path is not yet ready, so I am proposing a local walk from the village of between 4 and 5 miles, mainly along familiar tracks.

We will go via Monks Lane and the Parkes to cross the Nantwich Road and follow the path and lane until it meets the South Cheshire Way. Then along this to the canal, a very short stretch of towpath and back onto the path that goes past a couple of farms and down to Hankelow Mill.

Then onto the path across past Gladman Fields and back down the road from Little Heath into the village.

Meet at 09.30am on Saturday 28th on the Main Car Park.
