An unhappy Audlem correspondent reports that she has received a £70 fine for staying more than 90 minutes on Aldi's carpark in Nantwich, although the sum is reduced to £40 if paid quickly.

It appears that the supermarket has reduced the time allowed to park from two hours to 90 minutes and installed timing cameras on the carpark entrance and exit to automatically catch anyone exceeding the time limit. From the correspondent's comments, it may be that Aldi have lost at least one customer for good. The supermarket may offer bargains, but it takes a lot of cut-price offers to make up the cost of a fine like this.
