School pupils' appointments

We have had a great start to our new school year together, all of the children arrived smart and ready for their new year group to begin on Wednesday and I have already seen some great work being done across school.

In classes throughout school we have introduced the '5Rs' this week. These are the skills of being:
Ready
Remembering
Resourceful
Resilient
and Reflective

In assemblies this week we have focused on being 'Ready'. This includes being ready to learn and being organised and prepared. All five of these skills are areas we will regularly revisit throughout the year as we focus on children becoming independent and confident learners.

Our new Head and Deputy Head Girls and Boys were elected this week, they are:
Head Girl – Cecile Parkes
Head Boy – Thomas Teale
Deputy Head Girl – Isabel Hines
Deputy Head Boy – Hari Satchithananda

We also have new Year Six Team Captains for this term, our Captains are:
Rowan – Brandon Andersen
Lime – Tyler Walters
Alder – Luke Harding
Oak – Caitlin Burton
