It's the second day of the Audlem RNLI Festival at Overwater Marina. Stalls and displays are open from 10.00am and Bacon baps and tea bar open at 10.30am.

Highlights today will include:

  • The Raft Race at 12noon
  • The speakers' marquee begins at 1:45pm and has seven speakers all with differing topics until 3:45pm
  • At 4pm we have a narrow boaters question time – all super for folk interested in the canal and boats
  • The 22-piece Rode Hall Silver Band on Sunday afternoon
  • Cheshire Fire and Recsue demonstrations
  • Local services – Fire and Police
  • Cream Teas
  • Pony Rides with Magic & Maisie
  • A steam engine and a steam powered machinery display
  • Narrow boats and wide beam boats on display, boats for sale
  • Narrow boat charter presentations
  • and much, much, more.

Admission is free, and an all-weekend car parking pass is only £3.50.

Audlem Lass will run non-stop from 10.30am to about 7pm. The weather forecast is good so why not opt for a cruise from Lock 15 to the Overwater Marina. And, of course, it's all in aid of the RNLI.
