Popular historical images

One of the most popular features introduced to Audlem Online in the past year is the Historical Images section.

There's a wide selection of photographs, some relatively recent, others going back a few generations, where you can check the names of those featured – hover over the photo to bring up the names. Also, if you recognise a face that doesn't have a name to it, you can send the information to Audlem Online using the 'Assist' button.

Recently added photos include Audlem School teachers from around 1950: an Audlem Secondary School trip in 1958; the founding members of Probus and some likely looking lads with a trolley – and not the shopping variety – from 1966.
