Police have been quizzing motorists on the A529 Adderley to Market Drayton road two weeks after the tragic death of teenager Arnold Higgins.
Detectives are still trying to piece together the circumstances surrounding the death of the farmworker as he walked home from Adderley.
Officers from Market Drayton have been asking passing motorists, on the anniversary of the death, if they can offer any information that might help in their search for the hit-and-run driver.
Arnold Higgins, 19, of Sycamore Way, Market Drayton, is believed to have been struck by a passing vehicle as he walked home from work at around 5pm on Thursday November 7.
His body was not discovered until the following morning and a post mortem later found he suffered head injuries consistent with having been struck by a vehicle.
Many flowers and tributes have been placed at the spot where the teenager was found and police notices asking for witnesses are on display.
Richard Ewels, spokesman for Shropshire Police, said it wasn't unusual for officers to stage such operations at the scene of accidents, especially on the anniversary of the event.
"There is always the chance it might jog someone's memory and provide us with valuable information," he said.
West Mercia Police officers investigating the incident traced a 52-seater coach which may have been involved in the accident and have carried out forensic tests on the vehicle.
"Officers are still awaiting the results of those tests and I understand that further forensic tests are being carried out in the course of the investigation," added Mr Ewels.
The family of the 19-year-old paid tribute to a "top lad who lived life to the full and will never be forgotten" after a lantern service was held in his memory.
Police are still appealing for anyone with any information that might be of help in the investigation to contact them on 101.
