The following message has reached Audlem Online from residents in the western end of the village:-
"Well it's that time of the year again down here at the western end of the village and once again the path up to the village ending by Copthorne Drive is well and truly in a dangerous state due to the heavy amount of foliage and overhanging hedges making it a near impossibilty to walk up to the village. We are encouraged to get out of our cars, or so they tell us, but this path does not help. Over the 5 years we have lived down here this is the worst it's been. Even with the good work done by the Parish Council they cannot overcome this problem so we are not sure where to go next. But one day this problem will make the headlines when someone gets hurt and even killed for having to walk in the road."
