Parking on Stafford Street

Editor, this was meant as a Chatbox entry but I wanted to include this picture.

Quite a few months ago I said on Chatbox that Stafford Street needed double yellow lines down as far as the bridge. They currently stop by Churchfields for some obscure reason.

Someone replied that maybe drivers were expected to excercise common sense. A number don't, as you can see from the picture, this selfish parking makes it extremely dangerous for other motorists.

This van was not making a quick delivery. It is a painters & decorators and was there all day for at least two days last week.

I am not normally in favour of more restrictions on motorists but this is a no brainer.
