The Questionnaire for the 2010 Audlem Parish Plan is to be distributed shortly to all households in the parish.
Seeking the views of residents is a vital part of the Parish Plan process. Not only do they play a key part in assembling the Plan but showing evidence of consultation helps attract funding for village projects.
As well as seeking your views on a wide range of issues and current services, the questionnaire is looking for ideas. One question asks: "If there was one thing you would change in Audlem, what would it be?"
Another asks: "Are there any community events/clubs/activities you would like introduced, or re-introduced, in Audlem?"
The thirty five questions can be answered simply by ticking boxes but there's also space where you can add your comments for each question.
While one questionnaire per household will be distributed, extra copies will be available so that a range of views within each home can be returned.
The questionnaires will go out in the first week of November. The Parish Plan team are looking for a high response just as there was for the recent Ambulance & First Responder survey.
Audlem Online was just one idea that was launched as a result of the 2005 Plan, since when almost 4,000 local news stories have been published and around 500 people a day read the website.
Parish Plan teams are still pursuing a range of projects and these will also be reviewed in the 2010 Plan. The Village Design Statement and a detailed survey of the local countryside have been completed by the Planning team and published on Audlem Online – see Parish Council section.
