To kick start February we have a lovely offer for you:

  • Buy 3 of our finest Pork Loin Steaks for £5
  • Buy 3 large, British Chicken Fillets for £5

Try the chicken with one of the Atkins & Potts Kashmiri Korma Sauce – absolutely delicious alternative to the Indian take away and much healthier!

The pork loin steaks are succulent and delicious served with mashed potato, green vegetables and a "Sauce Queen" Porcini mushroom sauce.

So now we have given you some ideas for midweek suppers and a great offer – aren't we good to you! By purchasing even a small amount per week from us you are supporting British Farmers and the local economy so it really is a WIN WIN.

New Stock

We have some fabulous new stock lines in the shop this week including some Awfully Posh Pork Scratchings! Well quite honestly we wouldn't stock anything else now we have tasted these – they are seasoned with Anglesey sea salt and are indecently moreish.

Cooks & Co Semi dried tomatoes in a jar are a great store cupboard staple. I use them in my chilli con carne recipe. They are also good whizzed up in the food processor and stuffed inside a chicken fillet which is then wrapped in bacon.

Stokes Dijon Mustard is now also on the shelves alongside the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Mayonnaise. These are seriously good condiments!

The benefits of buying from your local butcher:

  • You are supporting the local economy
  • You are buying British produce and in most cases local produce and therefore supporting local farmers
  • It has been said many times before – but by buying local you are also supporting families and not helping the CEO of the larger supermarkets buy their 2nd holiday home!
  • You are buying great quality produce in the quantities you wish, not purchasing 3 for 2 or other tempting but often wasteful offers that supermarkets offer you constantly.
