Many thanks to all of you who attended our Carol Concert in St Mary's Church, Nantwich last week.
Brine Leas Academy and Stapeley Broad Lane Primary Schools choirs entertained us with a performance of songs and readings which were absolutely amazing.
The church was packed and as a result of your generosity we were able to send £1400 to the NSPCC, a really fantastic amount. This will be used to finance our Childline Service which provides children in distress with someone to talk to 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.. Each call answered costs the NSPCC £4.
Last year over the so-called "festive" period the NSPCC received 7000 calls on its Childline service from children in dire need – it is indeed an invaluable source of support to these vulnerable children.
Thank you so much
