On 9th April we reported that the recent NSPCC quiz night, hosted by the ever-popular Nick Hancock of "They Think It's All Over" television fame, raised over £1,000. We can now reveal that all the sums have been done and the final total raised on the night was actually the fantastic figure of £1,529.83! Very well done to all who attended and all who contributed in any way.

Do put the next Audlem NSPCC event in your diary. It is Saturday 6th May when there will be a bric-a-brac, books and cake stall at the Buttermarket in the centre of the village from 10 am to 12 noon. There should be some bargains to be had – so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
