Audlem District’s NSPCC Committee has two fund-raising events coming up in October.

The first is an exciting “murder mystery” in the Public Hall on Saturday 8th October, starting at 7.30 pm.   A play involving a murder  will be acted out by members of the Nantwich Players and the audience are invited to work out who dunnit.

Members of the audience are encouraged to wear 1940s dress to add to the authenticity of the event – but this is not a requirement!   It promises to be great fun and the ticket price of £12.50 per head includes a two course dinner, a licensed bar and raffle.  Tickets are available from Williams’ Newsagents or by phoning 01270 811647.

The second event is a coffee morning to be held on Wednesday 12th October from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm at Taintree House, Heathfield Road, Audlem.  Admission is £1 which entitles you to coffee (or tea) and a biscuit.   There will be stalls offering Christmas cards, bring and buy items, a tombola and a raffle.

Please join in these two events and help raise money for the NPSCC.
