Night Sky Evening at Overwater Marina

Join us for an evening with the South Cheshire Astronomy Society on Saturday 24th September 2011. 

The Coffee Lounge will be open at 6.00pm serving baked potatoes with a choice of fillings and at 7.15pm there will be a presentation by William Stewart who will help to identify the various planets and stars which can be seen from the marina, followed by an outside walk nearby.

There is no charge but there is a suggested donation to the South Cheshire Astronomy Society of £2.50. 

Bring warm clothing, a garden chair or lounger to stop you getting a stiff neck and binoculars or a telescope. If you bring a torch, please cover the lens with coloured plastic to diffuse the light.
