There's a new Vote Poll on Audlem Online asking "Which 'confetti' policy do you favour in Audlem?" This follows a new Forum discussion that's been attracting many comments with varying views over recent days.
It's a sensitive subject as we are sure the last thing anyone wants is to cause any distress on a couple's big day. It seems, however, that the volume of confetti generated recently has raised some concerns. Fortunately, two young entrepreneurs are racing to the rescue – see Monday's story: 'A neat confetti solution.'
The Vote Poll offers four options ranging from No confetti restrictions to Ban confetti completely. For those wondering about 'confetti bombs', these come in a range of sizes and deliver an explosion of streamers, hearts etc in selected colours. They are on a different scale to the traditional boxes of confetti.
Each of the four options has attracted support from the first voters with Yes to confetti, ban the confetti bombs in the lead early Wednesday morning.
While delighted the old-style website could attract such affection, we would like to hear more if there are aspects of the new-style you don't like. Do contact the webteam as all constructive comments will be welcome.
