New dates for tennis

The Tennis Club committee have decided to try and organise another two evenings for club members (and anyone else interested) – which with a bit of luck will not be disrupted by the weather this time!

So there will be two 'Training sessions' for anyone and everyone who would like to be considered for any of Audlem TC's teams – mens, ladies, mixed doubles etc or just to see the club, meet our members and possibly join too!

These sessions will give people a chance to come down to the club and meet the other players (and Dom the coach) on two consecutive Thursday evenings to hopefully attract members who don't play for any of the teams and may think that they are not able to because of lack of experience or having no knowledge of the set up, etc – when actually we are very keen to attract new blood and there is plenty of support for anyone who is interested at whatever level of playing.

It is also hoped that we can attract some of the junior members, such as the teenage lads & lassies who may need bringing on a bit and want to get some match practice – if I can find enough interest then we may be able to get a second men's team too?

The sessions are booked for the 11th and 18th February (Thursday) from 7pm until 10pm and Dom will also attend both of these. We will also be 'retiring' to The Lord Combermere afterwards for a drink and a chat should anyone like to join us there. So please come down and see what is happening and how you too can participate.

Please feel free to give me a call on 07805 551151

We look forward to meeting some new faces on the night(s)!

Nic Goodwin (Chairman Audlem Tennis Club)
