New 2011 Audlem Events leaflet

A new leaflet promoting Audlem's major events for this year is now being distributed to a variety of venues in the village and further afield.

Produced by the Audlem Parish Plan group, the 12-page folding leaflet features a long list of major events as well as information on the village, its shops, pubs and cafes and a selection of local walks. It also includes information on the new Audlem Lass boat service.

Five local walks, previously published in a special walks leaflet are detailed, with maps drawn by local resident Chris Elliott. The routes range from distances of around a mile to a three hour walk taking in the South Cheshire Way and Hankelow.

The photographers credited in the leaflet are Phil Baker, Simon Cotter, Ken Maple and Mike Mason.

The Events listed start with May's programme – the very special Highfields Gala on 7th and 8th May; the new Audlem Big Walk on 21st May; the Audlem Music Festival from 27th – 30th May and the Carnival on Bank Holiday Monday 30th May.

The leaflet has been produced using funding from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe Investing in Rural Areas and Defra through NWDA and Advantage West Midlands and via the Northern Marches Fund and the Vitality fund of Visit Chester & Cheshire; British Waterways; Cheshire East; Audlem Parish Council and Overwater Marina.
