Music night brings visitors back

Here's a nice little story about the popularity of Audlem.

A boat-load of holidaymakers from Surrey appeared at the music session on Monday evening.  They'd tripped over us three years ago and enjoyed it so much they were determined to come again. 

But they'd set off from Penkridge and only got as far as Goldstone Wharf (5 miles south of Market Drayton) by tea-time on Monday. So they hired a taxi to get them to Audlem for the music session. 

They had a meal and a great night, and promised to "see you again next year". And they were planning to moor in Audlem on Tuesday night, they like the place so much!
