The 2024 Music & Arts Festival in Audlem was, without doubt, another fantastic success.

Over 50 different acts performing over 6 locations, and a thriving arts and crafts fair in the Public Hall attracted an estimated 3,000 plus people into the village over the three and a half days for the free to attend event, providing a huge boost to the local economy.

In 2023 another great festival we succeeded in securing Council grant funding to help us balance the books for that year. This year, despite our best efforts, we were unable to replicate that, and the 2024 festival ran at a loss of over 3,000.

We're lucky that we had some modest reserves which allowed us to address that funding gap, but relying on that solely is unsustainable.

In addition to the year round fundraising activity that already takes place by our team of dedicated volunteers, we're determined to establish a regular funding stream to allow us to keep on improving the festival year on year, and to secure the long term future of this much loved event.

Therefore, we're launching the Audlem Music Festival monthly lottery. We're asking you to purchase a ticket(s) for £5 a month. We will hold a monthly draw, with four runner up prizes and one grand prize each month.

The value of the prizes will be directly related to the number of tickets we sell.

For example, if we sell 500 tickets, then that will equate to runner up prize values of £100 each, and a grand prize of £600, so the more people who enter, the greater the prizes will be.

You can submit your ticket application online by visiting www.audlemfestival.live/lottery or by handing in the completed form (available all around the village) to a member of staff at Williams' newsagent. Once we have received your application, we will send you your customer and ticket number(s) by email, along with instructions on setting up your standing order.

We're planning on running the draw as part of the Friday Open Mic at The Shroppie Fly (the second Friday of each month), and the dates will be published on Audlem Online, Audlem Life and Audlem Music And Arts Festival Facebook pages.

The start up costs for running the lottery have been covered by kind donation. The lottery is managed by nominated festival committee members, all working on a voluntary basis, so all the income not given as prizes will go towards maintaining and improving the festival itself.
