Over recent days, Audlem Online has been featuring the programme planned for the Audlem Music Festival from 25th to 28th May. We've already covered the first three days so, today, we feature the Monday.

Bank Holiday Monday is, of course, Carnival Day and it's also packed full of good music so there'll be a huge choice of entertainment on what is always one of the best days of the year in Audlem.

The music kicks off at 1.30pm at the Shroppie Fly with Loud Mouth Women, an outstanding all-women acapella group with uplifting harmonies and unique arrangements of songs from Eastern Europe, the West Indies and New Zealand. They are followed at the Shroppie by Bob Webb & Dave Roberts at 3.00pm.

JC Duo are playing Blues Alley from 2.00pm and the outdoor live music continues outside the Methodist Church from 3.00-6.00pm with Hollow Floor, Audlem's own Duffey Boys with electricity, a drummer and bassist, playing their own songs and their take on others. They are followed by another performance by Loud Mouth Women and then Inuendo, a young 5-piece band from South Cheshire who play Commercial Punk-Rock.

In the evening the pubs have another full programme with local band Gambler al fresco at The Bridge (from 6.00pm). The Lord Combermere will be hosting Mr McGinleys All Star Celebrated Ceilidh Band and then the Folk Music collective from 9.00pm. They normally play at the Shroppie on Monday nights but the concluding (and always very popular) event of the Festival will be the Jim Jam Session at the Shroppie Fly from 9.30pm featuring Chris Cook backed by Heavy Weather. It's always a fantastic finale so do come along and join in.
