The Audlem Traders Association are meeting this week to finalise their campaign to extend and improve their services to the village during the time of the planned temporary Coop closure (presently estimated to bebetween the 1st and 10th of December).
We will be running a campaign to highlight the goods and services that we offer, and are also in some cases, considering extended opening times and product ranges. We hope that we can meet the majority of the needs of our local shoppers and we also recognise that this is a great opportunity for us all to showcase what we as individual retailers can provide, and how we compare with the local Coop on both service and price.
Any persons with special requirements, who feel the Coop closure will directly affect them, are encouraged to speak to an appropriate village retailer, or alternatively call in at the newsagents, so we can do our very best to accommodate such needs during the planned shutdown.
