The Lord Combermere

This wonderful pub/restaurant here in the centre of the village and in many ways, the centre of much of the community life of Audlem is such a wonderful asset, – true jewel in the crown of Audlem.

I report that as of this week, Jo and Allan, Tom and Piper arrived exactly 6 years ago to take on the mantle of running the Lord C.

A good time to thank them for all their freely given input to the life hereabouts and indeed to be a major part of all the awards so recently showered on the village. Good that we have been so lucky in that they chose to up sticks and begin a new career. I am sure all agree with my sentiments. Long may they be part of all we do here.
