Local story in national newspaper

A regular reader and contributor to AudlemOnline, Stephanie Richardson, sent us this message: "Whilst reading The 'I' , the small Independent newspaper yesterday, I came across an article written about the number of cycling deaths in and around London.

"Audlem Online had just published the article on the death of Stewart Gandy, so I sent them a short email, with the website info, reminding them that these tragedies do not just happen in London and not to forget the rest of the country!

"In 'Letter from the Editor' they have mentioned your article."

Indeed the 'I' did and we are grateful to Stephanie for bringing this to our attention. The 'I' is, of course, available at William's newsagents at just 20p although the mention of Stewart Gandy's tragic death was in yesterday's edition.

As well as the mention in the Letter from the Editor there was also an article later in the paper about the number of recent cycling fatalities around the country including Stewart's.
