Local School Girl Wins County Award

Audlem St James' school girl Isabella Woods has won Everybody Junior Member of the Year 2017, awarded to a 5-11year old Cheshire East resident who has shown great dedication to keeping healthy and active within the last 12 months.

As host Sophie Coleman announced Isabella the winner she said how "Isabella shows exceptional commitment to leading a healthy and active lifestyle by attending weekly swimming lessons, cross country training, brownies and other after school sports sessions. That's not to mention that she recently has been accepted as a member of Crewe and Nantwich Athletics Club, completed several charity races, a triathlon and a Duathlon all at the age of 8! Isabella is also mindful of her nutrition by eating healthily and baking sugar free cakes. Her commitment and dedication to health and activity is such to be admired by all, especially at such a young age."

Everybody

Everybody is a charitable trust which operates 15 leisure and recreation centres in the Cheshire East area including Nantwich Swimming Pool, Barony Sports Complex and Cumberland Arena; at which Isabella can be seen several times a week training or, competing in various sports at throughout the year.

The Everybody Junior Awards 2017, sponsored by Premier Sports and Holmes Chapel Parish Council took place on Saturday 6th December at Holmes Chapel Community Centre; celebrating the fantastic achievements in sports and activity of the young people and families in Cheshire East.

Sport success continued in the Hankelow based Woods household with Isabella's seven year old sister Heidi a finalist!
