I am appalled that Gladman Developments has at the very first opportunity lodged an appeal on the grounds of 'non determination by the Local Planning Authority' and I write to assure you I will do all I can to ensure the strategic planning board considers the proposal at Little Heath in advance of the appeal hearing.

I have spoken to the Head of Planning this morning who will formally respond to Audlem Parish Council forthwith confirming the process that now takes place. In addition, I have asked that if the parish council so wish, the relevant planning officer attends a future meeting to deal directly with any concerns or questions.

I have declared an interest in this application due to potential benefit to a relative. However, you will recall I convened the initial meeting with Gladman Developments and I have to say I am disappointed that I was not made aware of the deferment of the committee date by either the developer or the planning authority.

With regard to the Mill Lane/Heathfield Road application, in addition to the extended consultation, comments can be forwarded up to the scheduled meeting date of October 9, either to:
planning@cheshireeast.gov.uk or
rachel.bailey@cheshireeast.gov.uk
which has rightly been suggested by Audlem Online.
