Following the success of the Royal Wedding Party on the Park reported yesterday on Audlem Online, in came the photo we've used for the Homepage from Mike Jones of the Coxbank Royal Wedding Party.

We also received last night a report of another local party venue for the Big Day at Little Heath.

Archie, describing himself as Audlem Royal Correspondent, writes:

"One is pleased to inform the general public that the Little Heath Alternative Royal Wedding party passed off without a hitch.

"Due to the exclusive attendance neither the crowd control barriers nor the security officers were needed. The portaloos were also redundant as there were more than enough trees for attendees to go behind.

"The atmosphere was electric: the in-house design team had gone overboard with the decorations, a fact that was not lost upon the public as at least three passing motorists blew their horn!

"The catering was out of this world and included such delicacies as chilli flavoured crisps and Pringles. Copious amounts of bubbly (Stella) were also quaffed.

"The events of the day were debated by these seasoned Royal watchers and the conversation ranged from Royal history and protocol to Posh's hat and Elton's wig.

"A long day was brought to a final conclusion when one of the party felt cold and woke the other seven to tell them she was going home.

"I think that your readers will be impressed by the attached photograph – click on the photo to enlarge it – which was snapped by one of the masses of paparazzi that were covering the event."
