It's Getting Closer! Audlem Ladies FC Challenge

The date grows ever near . Make a note . 16th of this month. Kick off at 1100.

Ladies have been training hard under the guidance of Barry Parker , coach and manager. Assisted by Alan Brindley and Kev Mort. Concentrating on getting the ball between the posts.

It has to be said that the men have done very little in the way of training yet . They have played two friendlies . Won one 8-0 and lost the other 8-3!!

Referee Steve has confirmed he is squeaky clean and free of all "bribes" though it has been said in some circles , he has been promised many kisses should he blow the whistle on a victory for the girls. Not that he is biased any way whatsoever – as indeed nor are his linesmen .
So a "fair " game in prospect .

Do remember that the girls are doing this as a charity event for the North West Air Ambulance Service and that to this end the big Quiz Night of the 11th at the Lord Combermere will also be to raise the funds for this noble cause. Loads and loads of raffle prizes and some wonderful auction items for you. Do come along and make it another great Audlem night.

And remember , the girls want to keep going as a team , entering the FA Women's league as soon as they can. Needing a kit sponsor etc , etc.
