The Pinfold coffee and cuisine at Number Eleven, Cheshire Street.
Hi, my name is Kate and I am excited to be opening "The Pinfold" in Number Eleven next to our fabulous butchers, Oxtail and Trotter. We are planning to be open by the end of June.
The Pinfold will let me share my passion for good food with you. It's going to be about freshness, great tastes and inspiring flavours. As great food is also about where you eat it and who you eat it with, The Pinfold will offer a really welcoming, light and comfortable atmosphere in the lovely renovated Cheshire brick building you've all seen taking shape over the last few weeks.
We will have seats inside, upstairs and in the open air of the Pinfold courtyard where Audlem's farmers once rested their livestock en-route to market!
"We cook what we sell and we sell what we cook" will guide what we do. So most of the ingredients that we use in our meals will be available to buy from our larder cupboards and our changing menus will reflect what's in season and tasting at its very best.
Our range will be complementary to Oxtail and Trotter ' all the meats in our dishes will come from there of course ' and we'll use as many of the great foods produced in the area as possible as well as some from further afield.
We'll bake each morning and open early for deli breakfasts (on Sundays too), stylish light lunches and classic afternoon teas – loose-leaved and served in a Staffordshire China cup, fabulous locally roasted coffees and rich hot chocolates.
As we finish work on The Pinfold, I'm sure I will meet you in the village but please drop me a line if you've any ideas for products or dishes that you would like to see on our menu or in our larder. Look out for further updates on Audlem Online.
I will also be looking for one or two assistants to work with me in the Pinfold. If you're interested in joining the team please contact me on the email below.
I look forward to offering you all a really warm welcome at The Pinfold at Number Eleven!
