Local resident Carl sent us this plea for more courtesy from the builders on Wednesday morning

Mill Lane Development vs Heathfield Road

This morning I drove down Heathfield Road to be met with a waggon parked right in the middle of the road. After waiting a few minutes and a few peeps on the horn later decided to go and find someone to move it.

I found 2 workmen, who when I asked them to move it just grunted at me. But did get on the radio.

After waiting 10 minutes nobody came to move the waggon and with no other workmen around to ask again, I was forced to reverse back up Heathfield road to turn around and find another way.
With any new development, wanted or not, there will be an increase in building traffic, but parking in a selfish way , not giving any thought for other road users is out of order.

Local residents still need to go about their daily business including getting to work themselves.. something I was late for today''. A little bit more consideration for the local residents would be appreciated here.
