The hazardous 'Hatherton bends'

I am writing to express my concerns about the hazardous 'Hatherton bends'.

On Wednesday there was an accident involving two local lads (who were both OK) and I believe there had been one earlier that day and one the previous day – as we all know there have been many accidents in the vicinity.

Like most, I travel that road regularly and on Tuesday was driving along there and skidded in exactly the same place driving at approximately 35mph! It won't be long before someone is killed along there and I express my concerns on that point. The road surface is definitely in need of changing.

I have emailed the Cheshire Constabulary today and they have passed my concerns on to Cheshire East by phone. If you too are concerned, send an email, maybe they may eventually do something about it.
