Hatherton Solar Park refused

Just to inform you that at today's Cheshire East Strategic Planning meeting, after a nail biting two hours of debate and valuable input from residents, the Hatherton Solar Park application 14/4296N was refused, noting that Cheshire East planners had recommended approval.

Hatherton public rights of way adjacent to the site, footpaths 8, 9. & 12, still remain undisturbed for wildlife and for enjoyment and pleasure of residents and visitors to experience the long ranging views of our Cheshire countryside.

It was interesting to see residents taking ownership and endeavouring to protect our local community environment.
