Happy New Year from ADAS!

Look back at the end of 2016

The Big Switch-On and Carol singing around the tree with Crewe Brass were well attended. We were blessed with good weather on both evenings. Santa was kept busy in his Grotto at the Switch-On and everyone enjoyed Carol singing around the tree. The soup provided by the Lord Combermere was much appreciated!

Many thanks are due to everyone who contributed towards the success of both events. A list of those who sponsored the trees is posted on the ADAS notice board adjacent to the Kebab shop. Also a generous donation of £500 was received from Audlem Parish Council. This fantastic response from the village has funded the purchase of the trees plus much-needed new cables and lights.

Many of you will have heard of the sad passing of Michael Haines. He was a stalwart of ADAS and will be sorely missed.

Events for 2017

We will soon be publishing the ADAS events list for 2017. This will again include an Open Gardens weekend with 12 new Gardens. If you would be interested in taking part please contact Neil Goodyear on 811283 or email Vanda Clemens on vandam@rocketmail.com

The trees come down

And finally, this is the weekend when the Christmas trees will be taken down. If you would like to help, please meet under the Buttermarket at 10am tomorrow, Sunday 8th January.
