Hankelow Fete defies the weather

Our thanks to Phil Baker for sending his photos from Sunday's Hankelow Fete. Not for the first time, Hankelow, current Cheshire Village of the Year, did not enjoy the best of the weather but a good number turned out to this popular village event despite the elements.

Frank Stapleton opened the fete and demonstrated some of his football skills that he put to such good use with Arsenal, Manchester United and the Republic of Ireland
