Hall family information

Marion Madden (nee Hall) of Salford – the one near Manchester, not a little to the east of Audlem, writes: "I am researching my family tree and have found that on my father's side – the Halls, my ancestors came from Audlem. I am as far back as Jonathan Hall c1680 to 1737 at present.

"His grandson Jonathan, born 1740, was baptised on 12th June 1740 and married at St. James in Audlem in July 1765. He was a Yeoman. He married a Mary Silvester. He had a sister Martha and a brother William 1752-1816. I am hoping to visit Audlem very soon and see if I can find anything else – perhaps from a churchyard."
