Hair today – gone on Thursday?

Thanks to a very generous group of people the target of £1000.00 was reached last week on the Just Giving site.

For Mend our Mum that will mean we have raised about £1150.00 with a final count up planned for this Thursday.

Why this Thursday? Well, on Thursday it will be Trim or Scalp at the Lord C, when the final result is declared: is it 'off' or is it 'on'?

At around 8.00pm, as a support act to the one and only Jim Kirkpatrick, who is playing around 9:00ish, Tim Lawton from TPL will be ready to select either a pair of scissors or a pair of clippers: Ian Haughey will be in the barber's chair.

Ian is hoping that the 'save the hair' brigade are out in full, because at this moment in time it's looking like the 'woolly hat' brigade are well in front.

Given that Mrs Haughey (Mum) will be making the trip over to see this momentous occasion given that her wishes are about to come true and her son will be getting his hair cut, a tad more off than we think she wanted, but nevertheless a cut, and all being good, joined by Berni.

So, a slightly different support act at the Lord C, but a great night again being hosted by Allen and Jo with Jim Kirkpatrick & friends playing live.
